Matthew Johnson - Preacher

Serving as Good Shepherd’s preacher for over a year, Matthew believes strongly that belief in Christ calls us to lead with compassion and love for God’s creation. Everyone is welcome at God’s table because every person is a child of God. Prior to preaching, he served as Good Shepherd’s choir director starting in 2022. Along with his church work, Matthew is a voice teacher for singers around the world, specializing in rock, metal, and musical theatre techniques. Owner of Elite Singer, he views the voice as a source of empowerment and expression that can lead to greater fulfillment in day to day life. Utilizing his teaching and performing experience, Matthew creates engaging messages that seek to deepen each person’s unique relationship with God and their calling through Christ’s overarching love.

Vic Johnson - Music Director

Vic has been directing Good Shepherd's music program beginning in 2005, and has had a leadership role in churches since he was 18. Led by faith, music is where he often feels closest to God. An educator at heart, Vic creates a welcoming environment where everyone who wants to "make a joyful noise" is able to join in and sing with the choir. Outside of Good Shepherd, he currently directs the Monroe and Easton senior center choirs and privately teaches piano and voice to students of all ages.

Stephanie Klein - Office Administrator

In 2021, Stephanie Klein joined Good Shepherd as Office Administrator and Assistant Treasurer. Her responsibilities include managing accounts, compiling and distributing our weekly newsletters, bulletins, and annual reports, and handles all email and phone correspondence for the church. Additionally, she collaborates closely with all our committees, ensuring the smooth operation of our initiatives. Her duties also extend outside the church, as she conducts GSLC business at our local bank, post office, and procures supplies as needed.

Stephanie and her family reside in Monroe. In her “past life”, she served as a police officer and Officer Friendly for the Town of Westport. She left police work to raise her children and dedicated many years to volunteering at their schools, with Monroe Travel Basketball, and the Monroe/Masuk Football programs. She deeply appreciates the kind and generous people of Good Shepherd and feels truly blessed to work here!
